Our CAMP ACTIVITIES
Business Education & Challenges
Through interactive business workshops, campers will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and business, including creative thinking, leadership, and financial literacy. They’ll work in teams to create business plans, pitch ideas, and take part in unique business competitions to apply what they’ve learned.
Objective: To introduce campers to the basics of business through hands-on activities.
-
In this class, campers will learn the basics of business through an interactive and engaging session. The class will cover five key business principles:
What is a Business?

Profit and Expenses
Marketing and Branding
Teamwork and Leadership
This activity will teach foundational business concepts while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and communication.

In this activity, campers will play a business-themed board game where the goal is to to help the kids understand the ins and outs of money. From spending to saving. This activity teaches strategic thinking, financial management, negotiation, and teamwork in a fun and competitive format.
-
In this activity, campers will work in teams to brainstorm and develop a creative business idea related to sports or fitness. They’ll start by identifying a problem or gap in the sports industry (e.g., better sports gear, new training methods, or healthier snacks). Teams will then learn how to create a simple business plan outlining their product or service, target market, pricing strategy, and how they’ll market it.
-
In this activity, campers will design their very own custom shoe from scratch, giving them a chance to unleash their creativity and learn about product development and branding.
How It Works:
Design the Shoe: Each camper will sketch their custom shoe design on paper, deciding on details like color, style, material, and any unique features (e.g., extra cushioning, waterproofing, or smart technology).
Name the Shoe: After designing their shoe, campers will give it a unique name and create a brand identity (logo, slogan, and mission statement).
Create Benefits: Campers will brainstorm and write down the benefits of their shoe, such as its comfort, durability, or style advantages. They’ll also need to think about how their design stands out from other shoes on the market.
Set a Price Point: Using their knowledge of costs and competition, campers will set a price for their shoe. They must balance affordability with profitability and explain why their shoe is worth the price.
Pitch the Shoe: At the end of the activity, each camper will present their design to the group, highlighting its unique benefits, price point, and the story behind its creation.
Learning Points:
Product development and innovation.
Branding and marketing strategies.
Pricing strategy and market positioning.
Public speaking and presentation skills.
This fun and creative activity combines design with real-world business skills, teaching campers about product differentiation, branding, and pricing in a hands-on way. The camper with the most innovative and well-thought-out design will earn a spot as a pitch judge!
